My Grandma is a Jazz Singer (working title) is a work-in-progress documentary film and a photography book project which attempts to reclaim and recreate memories from the public persona of the enigmatic Argentine jazz singer Lois Blue. Victoria Montero, Lois’ granddaughter and director of this project, embarks on this search as a way to piece together a relationship with the jazz singer & grandmother she never met.
