Biomimicry Design Challenge

The Biomimicry Institute was founded in 2006 by Janine Benyus and Bryony Schwan aiming to naturalize biomimicry in the culture by promoting the transfer of ideas, designs, and strategies from biology to sustainable human systems design. In 2008, the Institute launched the Global Design Challenge, designed to help biomimetic solutions advance beyond the concept stage and be awarded with the $100,000 Ray of Hope Prize™. I was reached by the Institute to design the contest's brand identity and collateral materials, along with the development of the Biomimicry Institute Brand Style Guide.
