Capturing Venice's unique kiosks

Meet Charles Johnstone, a self-taught photographer celebrated for his distinctive take on everyday surroundings. From urban basketball courts to gas stations and swimming pools, he has a knack for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. In this project, he turned his lens towards Venice's quaint kiosks, unearthing the charm hidden within.

As the cinematographer, I documented Johnstone's creative journey in Italy, which led to the creation of the photo book 'Choischi A Venezia' and an insightful short film titled 'Remnants of Memory.' I also contributed to shaping the book's layout and illustrated a map that highlights each kiosk photographed by Johnstone.
